Terms & Conditions

The broader conditions for BondaPet™ websites, products, portals, LifeID™ concepts, marketplace workflows, and ecosystem services.

Effective: 14 May 2026Public previewSouth Africa aware

Agreement to the platform conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to BondaPet™ websites, products, portals, public forms, investor pages, early access workflows, demo workflows, LifeID™ concepts, care-network experiences, and any related services made available by BondaPet™.

If you access or use BondaPet™ on behalf of an organisation, clinic, breeder, rescue, pet-service provider, investor, or other entity, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and to bind that organisation to these terms where applicable.

Accounts, roles, and permissions

Some BondaPet™ services may require an account, invitation, organisation membership, or role-based access. Users are responsible for keeping login details secure and for all activity under their account unless caused by BondaPet™'s proven fault or a legal requirement says otherwise.

Organisations are responsible for assigning appropriate staff access, removing access when someone leaves, and ensuring that people using the platform have authority to view or manage the relevant pet, owner, clinic, breeder, rescue, service, or operational information.

LifeID™ and pet records

LifeID™ is intended to help create continuity around a pet's identity, care history, documents, ownership context, and handovers. BondaPet™ may help organise this information, but users and organisations remain responsible for verifying accuracy before relying on it for care, adoption, breeder, rescue, insurance, or operational decisions.

BondaPet™ may restrict, correct, archive, review, or flag records where needed for security, trust and safety, legal compliance, duplicate prevention, suspected misuse, or data-quality reasons.

Marketplace, partners, and professional services

BondaPet™ may support discovery, referrals, bookings, listings, applications, care reminders, partner offers, insurance pathways, breeder trust workflows, rescue workflows, and pet-service workflows. Unless BondaPet™ expressly states otherwise in writing, third-party providers remain responsible for their own services, advice, pricing, availability, licences, insurance, approvals, and legal obligations.

BondaPet™ may review or remove listings, content, accounts, applications, or organisations where trust, welfare, data protection, legal compliance, or platform safety may be affected.

Fees and paid services

Some current or future services may be paid, including subscriptions, booking fees, listing subscriptions, partner transactions, referral fees, promoted visibility, or Care memberships. Fees, billing terms, refunds, commissions, and payment-provider terms should be shown at the point of purchase or in the relevant commercial agreement.

Unless required by law or agreed in writing, fees already incurred for completed services, active subscriptions, confirmed bookings, successful referrals, or platform access may not be refundable.

Acceptable use

You may not use BondaPet™ to submit false, harmful, defamatory, fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or unauthorised information; compromise platform security; misuse pet or owner data; harass another person; interfere with rescue, breeder, clinic, or service workflows; or use the platform in a way that could harm animal welfare.

BondaPet™ may suspend or restrict access where misuse, security risk, welfare risk, legal risk, payment risk, or platform integrity risk is suspected.

Investor information

Investor pages and materials are provided for introductory discussion only. They are not an offer to sell securities, a solicitation to invest, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of performance. Any investment discussion must happen through the correct legal process and final approved documents.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, BondaPet™ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the platform, preview pages, unavailable features, third-party services, data submitted by users, or reliance on unverified information.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including rights that may apply under consumer protection, data protection, or other mandatory laws.

Governing law

Unless a written agreement says otherwise, these terms are intended to be governed by the laws of South Africa, and disputes should be handled by South African courts or another agreed dispute process where applicable.

Who we are

BondaPet™ is building a connected digital ecosystem for pet identity, LifeID™ records, care continuity, adoption and rescue workflows, ethical breeder trust, veterinary and pet-service coordination, and platform safety.

For these pages, BondaPet™ means BONDAPET (PTY) LTD (202627124207), the BondaPet™ platform, public websites, forms, digital products, and related services operated by BondaPet™ or its authorised team. BondaPet™'s registered address is 166 Galley Rd, Pretoria, Gauteng.

Important pet-care disclaimer

BondaPet™ is not a substitute for a veterinarian, animal health professional, emergency service, insurer, legal adviser, or regulatory authority. Information on BondaPet™ may help organise care context, but it is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or an emergency response service.

If a pet may be ill, injured, lost, unsafe, or in distress, contact a qualified veterinarian, emergency clinic, rescue organisation, or relevant authority immediately.

Privacy and personal information

BondaPet™ aims to process personal information responsibly and in line with applicable privacy laws, including South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), where it applies. POPIA is administered by the Information Regulator of South Africa.

We may process information such as names, contact details, organisation details, pet-related context, adoption or breeder context, support messages, form submissions, technical metadata, security events, and communication preferences. Where the platform processes pet care, owner, clinic, breeder, rescue, or service records, access should be role-based and limited to the purpose for which the information is needed.

We use information to provide and improve the service, respond to enquiries, manage early access and demo requests, protect platform trust and safety, send relevant communications, maintain audit trails, support legal compliance, and coordinate authorised workflows across the ecosystem.

Security

BondaPet™ uses reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect platform data. Public forms are submitted through server-side routes, include abuse controls, and are intended to prevent direct public read access to lead data.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users and organisations must keep account credentials secure, restrict access to authorised people, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access or incorrect data.

Third-party services

BondaPet™ may connect to or rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, database providers, email providers, analytics, payment providers, insurers, veterinary partners, breeder or rescue partners, and pet-service providers.

Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy notices, fees, and eligibility rules. BondaPet™ is not responsible for third-party services except where required by applicable law or a written agreement.

Changes

BondaPet™ may update these terms as the product, legal requirements, or ecosystem changes. Updated versions should be published on the website with a new effective date.

Contact

Questions about these terms, privacy, or data requests can be sent to BondaPet™ HQ through the official website forms or the contact email published by BondaPet™. A dedicated privacy or information-officer contact should be added once formally appointed.
